
Trending @Capgemini; The reality of flexi work.
Currently I'm working in a project since 27th November, 2023. Mostly its good but even though I'm working in second shift they are not giving shift allowance.
My manager asked me to come to office daily because I asked if I could report from a different location. My tl shouts on me even if I am not at wrong bt never tells a word to others in my team who are all girls/women.
Currently I'm going through some tough times because of my personal life and the work stress.
I want to avail the flexi work policy, go back to my parents, work from the office there, recover from this and then come back.
Otherwise I'm at a point where I'm considering to take release from the project after completing one year in it. The toxicity is putting excessive stress on me.
Please advice what I should do.
If these goes on, I fear I might not be there anymore.

First, talk to your manager about your personal situation and request flexi work or WFH. If that doesn't work, escalate to HR. If things don't improve, consider asking for a project release. Document all communications.

I am expecting a hike this year end. If I'm taking early release will it affect the hike?
