No woman ever wanted to marry an unemployed man.

I want to say this. But everyone knows the truth but still refuses to talk about it and instead keeps the misandry propaganda alive.

This is not misandry, it's patriarchy...everyone suffers due to this, men and women.

All the men who are saying the girls won't marry men who are unemployed, I want them to set the example to our society by getting their sisters/daughters married to an unemployed man.. I am with you in this. Society should learn from you..

Then why do girls look for a well settled boy? Marry anyone and then grow together in life. I have even heard cases where girls want to quit their job after they are married. Of a boy tried to do the same he will never find a girl. So get out of the stereotype, and look at both sides of the coin.

We have also seen cases where women are expected to quit their jobs after marriage or children. We have also seen cases where women are unable to switch as that demands shifting to another city.We have also seen cases where women are expected to cook clean take care of all the household chores and then go to work.We have also seen cases where an ambitious/passionate girl is termed as not suitable wife/DIL material..

Apart from giving a daughter, the father should also give money to these beggars. Imagine the pressure on the father.

And that too when the girl herself is earning? You're getting the subscription of an additional monthly salary, but still you want a lumpsump, and some classy benefits?

The more I read about these, I think literacy has nothing to do with such cases. People will always try to squeeze out the other person if they think there is space to do so.

Since there is a social concept of dowry amongst the parent generation so mostly they do the talking about this and the children don’t care much because who turns down free stuff. Or maybe they grew up seeing such things

QuirkyPretzel

Children should be mature enough to understand that this free stuff comes at a very heavy cost from the side providing the stuff. (Whether it's Dowry or Alimony)

Dowry nd caste will never go away in India. Those who oppose learn a tough lesson when trying to get their daughter married. Also if the groom is very forward thinking they are taken for a ride by the bride s family..we are seeing multiple cases like this. At the end it's just like corporate world... Either manipulate or get manipulated to survive.

Men can expect their woman to be financially sound and own a car. No issues with that. But the issue pops up when it's put as a demand for the men himself. How can he expect money or a car for himself. That's the underlying issue.

Woman expect their man to be employed. They are not asking that their man has to provide them with job.

SleepyJellybean

What kind of logic is that?? Will women marry a unemployed guy? No right
