There was a guy who seemed really friendly at first. He said he wanted to help everyone grow together. But soon, it became clear that he wasn't as nice as he pretended to be. He was good at making tough work look easy and got others to do these tasks, making himself look better and finishing his work fast. He played a lot of office politics, becoming friends with the bosses in sneaky ways. Because of him, two coworkers almost lost their jobs.

I realize now I should have spoken up about what he was doing. But back then, I stayed quiet, and now it feels like it's too late. The bosses like him a lot, and it feels like they wouldn't listen to complaints about him. It's a tough spot, and I'm trying to figure out what to do next.
