The fear of change vs desire to grow

Some of my friends, who are equally talented, earn much less than I do. Yet, even though I’m in a good place right now—with work I truly enjoy, a solid salary, and the comfort of working from home—I still find myself chasing opportunities that offer even higher pay. Sometimes I wonder if this makes me ungrateful or just too greedy as the amount which i earn is sufficient for me.

At the same time, I have this curiosity to explore and learn new things by changing environments. But there’s also a fear: what if I lose the things I enjoy about my current role? Do others also feel this way? How do you cope with that balance between wanting stability and wanting growth?

It's both ungrateful and greedy mate. But...

"Ain't you bored of the comfort zone? Could AI replace you? Are you incompetent?" If your answer is "no" to any of these, then you should definitely incline towards growth. Also add you grow old, the propensity to take risks reduces.

Depends on what you value more. Just ask yourself, if you have to do it for the next 5 years will you be happy doing it.
