The evaporation of fresher jobs?
It was a tough year, 2025 grad with no placements from campus, it was bad overall, for the past months, I always had one interview or another but most of them resulted in just ghosting, I'm now sitting at home with no offers and parents are asking me to join some coaching/institute in bangalore.
This comes at a tough time because over the past week I was ghosted by one of the top semiconductor design company after scheduling the interview and another company with an ML role, earlier I used to have some leads but now it's just barren land ahead. So here I am writing this post to see if there are any fruits of wisdom hanging on the grapevine.
Profile - I have good projects in my hand in the space of RTL design/coding, FPGAs, python, ML (LSTMs, data pipelining etc)

With your age and ML knowledge, it's us experienced folks whose jobs are evaporating.
Keep posting about your projects, etc. on LinkedIn. Tag companies, HRs. Something will definitely click for you.

Infosys just had (not sure about the end date of recruitment process) recruitment for freshers... You could check

Try using referral , connect with HR via LinkedIn. Do not loose hope 1 offer is all you need.
I'm also in same situation such as you I'm in a very toxic job role , i have been applying no luck got ghosted , but not going to loose hope
All the best to you as well, 2026 will be better

I tried to connect with HRs too, but they just seen the msg and don't even give a reply, which is damn irritating and disappointing.
well, I am in 8th sem in the hope of finding a good job.

The amount of funding into tech companies has been really less this year compared to previous years .
And in the month of Dec hardly anyone works , so don't lose hope , something should come up .
Have a public page with your work and have your GitHub with all your work .
You can start by sharing your work by writing a blog or posts on LinkedIn, especially with your observations.
Was never active on LinkedIn before, maybe I'll do that
😭🤝
