Trending @Cognizant; The Donkey & Carrot Story in Cognizant πŸ₯•πŸ΄

At Cognizant, employees are often treated like donkeys - a carrot is dangled far ahead with a long stick. They are made to work day and night, client billabllity, cost arbitrage, greed profits etc. without proper rewards.

In the long run, the donkey becomes weak and eventually collapses. Sadly, many careers meet the same fate here if decisions are not made wisely.

πŸ‘‰ So here’s the real question for you all: Do you think staying longer in such an environment helps in the long run, or is it smarter to take the leap early?

1.Stay back & adjust – stability matters
2.Move out early – career growth first
3. Depends on role/designation
4. No opinion / Not sure

There’s another option that we never think about. Replacing the one in power. We have been deliberately made to forget this power of ours. We can protest and boycott this infy minded CEO and CPO who takes strange decisions to prove their idiotic leadership skills. This forum itself is the evidence for the same.

Why only CEO Ravi, CPO, it's also a shared piece by Wipro kutnitigyaa strategist CFO Jatin Dalal involved.

It’s not always about hitting the hammer directly, sometimes being strategic works better. If a thorn on the ground pricks our foot and others passing by, we don’t necessarily need to uproot the whole plant. Instead, we could pour sugar syrup near its roots, and give nature opportunity like ants will eventually eat through them. One day, the plant will fall on its own, and from then on, no passerby will suffer pain or trouble from it.

I agree with your words.
This situation apparently has inter dependency but portrayed as dependency. This calls for letting the other party know that we too know where they need us to run their show.
