The claim that 90% of resumes are fake — how true is it?

‘Fake’ implies 100% false. That’s not the situation in reality.

However, most people do embellish or stretch the truth a little bit on their resumes, to make themselves look a little better than they actually are. 😄

So a better way to phrase it would be that most resumes are a bit embellished / exaggerated, instead of "fake".

Its true. Almost every resume is fake till some extent.

And so the job descriptions are also fake
