The bottom of the backpack got wet

Hello Guys, recently I was traveling and I had kept my water bottle and laptop in the same backpack compartments but in different areas. The water spilled and I realized after a few hours that the laptop compartment had also gotten wet and there were some droplets on the laptop. The laptop is not starting. How much could be the damage?? Can it be recovered?? I am really worried
