Thanks so much for your advice. Actively working on it now.

Hey folks, firstly thanks a lot for just so many comments on my last post. It was so much good advice, and such long and detailed answers.

I’ve now started taking active steps:

  1. Deleted IG immediately, just using it on Web cuz sometimes I need to use it for work
  2. In general reducing phone usage. Consciously keeping phone away at night time and also not keeping it around always
  3. Have set wallpaper/background so that it constantly reminds me not to indulge in doom scrolling, and reminds me to be mindful.

It’s just early. But I felt I owed it to at least share some updates. Very grateful to you all

Stopped using Instagram

Been a week since I deactivated my Instagram account to get rid of the continuous doom scrolling addiction. My focus on work has improved slightly. I have been having much more positive vibes throughout the day. Anyone else felt the same?
