It's been almost 3 years since I joined Infy as a lateral and recently I have put down my paper, soon going to leave.
Here's what my experience has been in this tenure,
- I got to work on 3 of the most niche projects with the most demanding skills in the market. The projects were challenging, interesting and directly client facing. My learning was sky high both in terms of technical and managerial aspects.
- The teammates and managers that I got to work with were immensely supportive and collaborative, it has been an absolute healthy environment for me to learn, grow and deliver.
- I got an early career progression due to my valuable contribution and multiple appreciations from the clients for all my projects. Had I stayed back this year, I would also receive the promotion as well.
- I received two iCount ratings as of now and both of them were Outstanding.
- I became part of the Platinum Club.
- Got to do permanent WFH and absolute flexibility from my managers.
- I have received average variable pay of 95%, received over 100% multiple times, highest received 122% and lowest received 80%.
- The most important one - till now I have received two hikes in these 3 years of tenure, the first hike was 10% and the last one was 21%. Was a bit disappointed for not receiving any till now for this year, maybe I would have received it at the end of the year if I decided to stay back.
Overall it has been an amazing experience for me from all the aspects, however for personal aspirations I decided to move on and soon I will be leaving the organization.

How did you get permanent WFH? does it depend on Manager solely or on what basis?Like those with outstanding performance can get if they ask PM/DM

What are the benefits of platinum club?

Here they are,
- Early career progression and promotion.
- Slightly higher variable pay and hike rather than others.
- Better project opportunities.
- Onsite opportunities in priority for Platinum Club members.
- Access to exclusive learning contents.

How to check are we part of that club or not? Will it reflect anywhere in the system? Coz i have received 2 consecutive outstanding ratings

You can only get all this , if you are under paid or at least less than JL5 , they do give all above if you perform well and is under paid. Else no matter how good you are ..they will never give outstanding, I am telling this based on true facts , budget decide everything not performance here.

These %hike is for low to moderate pay only... JL5 + will never get outstanding rating consecutive years in Infosys.

I posted this being a JL4, don't know about other JLs, not sure why everyone is bringing the higher JLs

Yeah JL5s Or above actually do not get much, I have worked with JL5s who are getting the same/close to as of mine which is really shocking of how Infosys deals with these higher JLs

Seriously!!!! I've been working in one unit for 6yrs, got good rating and 2 promotions, still my salary is not near to my yoe.

Is Infy your first company? If yes, then switch. Staying in the same company for long won't give you a good hike. If you are lateral, then also switch if this is the scenario you are going through. Hope you shine soon 🤝
