Thank you Grapevine! Got a job offer of 28L (Base) at Amazon...

I am just too excited today to share that I will be joining Amazon all thanks to @MT_Ego This feels like a dream come true to me and I am really thankful to everyone here at Grapevine.

Few months ago, I was going through a depressive phase in my last company. I joined this app through Twitter and started reaching out to users on the app from good companies. @MT_Ego helped me through it all. They decided to refer me to Amazon, we talked for some time and then connected via LinkedIn. I shared my resume and explained my career aspirations.

Their response was encouraging. I had reached out to 400 people here on the app and only 20 of them responded and only 1 helped. So you only need 1 opportunity, regardless of how the market is.

A couple of weeks later, I received an email from Amazon's recruitment team. Then it was all about consistently working through these rounds and finally converted it. I got advice from my network on how to prep and perform.

I must be honest, I am grateful for the referral. It helped me crack a role that I was struggling to unlock by myself.
