Trending @Accenture; Termination due to partial RTO
Has anyone got terminated due to partial RTO. IF someone goes once or twice a month , then is it still an issue ? Do we get WARNING emails still ? Any HR here pls give honest reply so accordingly we check outside options

Yes termination happened to the nearby team. One resources are not willing to come to office since February months .Even after multiple reminder. Since he violated Accenture policy,he got terminated.

Rumours hai ... No one is taking seriously, My lead lives in Hisar (Haryana) 5 hrs from Gurgaon and she rarely visit office

Not rumors. Their team members informed with this information with dissatisfaction. He is the new joiner - associate manager and was sitting in my booked seat. I was helping to book the seat. He was hired to work from a home position. But his account head forced all the team members to the be present in office once a week.Due to his team face don't want face the same termination for not coming to office.

My manager said, it is mandatory to come office once in a week, we can't skip office visit, otherwise you can take a full week leave.

How generous is your manager to give you leave

Bit aggressive way to enforce, however this is not Accenture guidelines
However remember every manager has KRA to ensure his/her resource are compliant or he is taking action against them.
Please note manager and choose to put you on IP for not coming to office. As it is policy violation, he won't be asked any questions if he/she does this

I guess for female employees they are very much lenient on RTO policy. I know a couple of female colleagues who visit the office only once a month or two. Also their exception request is taken more seriously than male members. I was talking to one colleague and the RTO was granted to her because his husband is in government service and they cannot afford to relocate from Varanasi. There are numerous such examples where females are given the upper hand on this RTO thing.
As for me I applied for an exception request that my wife is very ill and I won't be able to leave my hometown in such a condition. To which my HR and BU head replied "your exception is not that serious as you have hospitals near your office location also. "
I mean........WTF ????
Seems like Julia Sweet is only sweet to the female employees.
Also, consulting is not following this RTO policy. It's only for ATCI .

*her

I have received warning letter in may after that o have started but still misses some weeks . Will see what this ash*** can do Imy PL don’t say anything as entire team sits in banglore and I am alone in kolkata. Ready for the worst

Being in kolkata , you still can go as office s there...

Chill. It's mandatory on paper. If they want to terminate you. They can mention any reason.

One of my teammates got terminated because he was not willing to come to office at all

Yes partial RTO list is happening. At first they are gathering who doesn’t follow RTO completely. And depends on project seriousness and resource skill set letters are being issued. Post that after warning 2 straight termination. And partial RTO who are not following are also in that list already. Probably in next quarters they will consider them. If your exception is not accepted u will land in problem and next promotion and hikes also have rto weightage which already discussed with you. from delivery heads we have received the communication in calls. no written communication but they announced.

As per company policy, everyone is required to work from the office at least once a week. People have started receiving warning emails if they are not following this guideline.

Question is should i talk to HR ...My case is i cannot leave my hometown due to family constraints.. N the distance is 6 hrs from my nearest base location
