Is Accenture laying off people who are on bench for more than 3 months?

See i will give some clarity
First they put you on cip/pip
When you are in bench
Since you are not getting project calls for your primary skill its almost certain there might be less demand for that skill , so they do this for formality & give you one month to evaluate you, but that evaluation is useless, they have already decided most of the time to kik you out.
Now what happens is , no matter how good you perform, they will keep finding flaws in your performance and evaluation feedback, and after 4th week they will get on a call with HR and supervisor and tell you that you have not cleared pop/cip .
They give you two choice, one is you your self ask for resignation & that very day becomes your LWD & the best part is you get 3months salary + the partial salary of that month + leave encashment~ 4.5 month salary.
Soo you get a fucking ton of money all at once and you become a immediate joiner. If you don’t choose to resign then they will terminate you and that process I don’t know. Well if you resign then it won’t be mentioned anywhere that you were put on pip/cip so no issue in next company, not so sure if they terminate you.

Yes, Accenture sending a mail if you refused any project. They start the redeployment process. We need to get staff in projects within 45 days.
