Term insurance Claim for death due to fasting

I learnt that the Employer provided term insurance will not be honored for suicide, as it's yearly renewed and there is minimum one year waiting period for covering suicidal death.

And regards to personal term insurance, wanted to know, if suicide after 1 year is covered without any terms and conditions, also will fasting under death is considered as suicidal death?

Will Employer insurance or personal term insurance consider thus as suicidal or not?
