Tenant illegally occupying my property
So here is an interesting case and feel free to advice if you have a genuine advice to share
I own an apartment, The occupant is Bank of India employee so about 2 months back I asked him to vacate the premises, on 30th April vid a letter on 31st March giving him 30 days to vacate on 2nd of April the Tenant sent me response thru a lawyer that he would not be vacating the premises as he has some medical condition. Post which I had to engage a lawyer and sent a response back to him and his lawyer. To which he did not respond.
Following up I wrote the society AOA for stopping non essential services and recharge to electricity to be limited to INR 50 in one shot.
The person then reached out to society AOA pleading timeline upon which I asked him to reach out to my lawyers and settle it peacefully. The lawyers did connect and settlement was agreed but then the settlement is yet to be documented almost 6 days thru.
In your experience what should be my next steps.

Owners have no choice by to be at the mercy of such tenants. We go the legal way, it will cost more money and stress. Try to act friendly with him, and try to get him out. That's the only way. Since he is the one who went legal first, it is clear tat he has some backing.
