Technology switch

Hello, I am an iSeries Developer with 6 YOE. I need one help. I want to give it a try on technology switch. Could you suggest some of the best tech to switch into and how to start from scratch?

p.s i was not in a situation to switch during these years due to personal reason and don't want to take risk during lockdown and not stable financially that time.
