Technology Should Serve Humanity — Not Replace It
Everywhere we look today, we hear about layoffs and job losses in tech. Why is this happening? Is automation or AI to blame?
These tools were meant to make our lives easier, not take livelihoods away. So why aren’t global organizations setting clear limits — ensuring technology is used for research, well-being, and protecting nature?
Shouldn’t innovation focus on making life more comfortable, sustainable, and meaningful? What do we really achieve if work gets faster but fewer people have the chance to work?
As technology evolves, we must ask: are we building a future that supports humanity — or one that forgets it? It’s time to speak up, guide AI in the right direction, and make sure progress truly benefits people and the planet.

It is serving humanity. AI will cost cheaper and will be faster for Clients. Clients will have more profit margins, he may invest more and scale company. May hire more employees or increase salary. while a IT guy will lose a job.. Its all like stock market, someone will lose while someone else will gain. But dont worry. Data centres uses 3% of worlds electricity. Data is not cheap, and DATA is fossil fuel for AI. LLM already shredding. Companies can work to improv AI models but its nothing without data. AI bubble will burst. Just like dotcom. Life will change, IT will transform, Jobs will be back in market.

That’s not the whole truth, they portray it just like you said while it is clear they want to cut short on resources and make more profit. That’s why Agentic AI.
Just last week I was in a meeting with C-Suite ppl and Microsoft at a client office. Their demand was quite clear, asking Microsoft to offer them solutions so they can downsize a team of let’s say 20 ppl to 4.
Everything boils down to the balance sheet and yet the greed has no limit. These major tech giants have market cap of 3 to 4 trillion dollars each which is India’s GDP, they are sitting on stockpiles of cash and it grew exponentially in last few years and still you see them laying off.
I personally think if you are keep going to reduce human factor to make sheer profit then the whole economies are going to go in abyss one day for sure. Who are you going to make your products for when majority of people won’t have means to buy them.

Capitalism. Why will anyone focus on anything other than profits? We would have neither
