Technology Shift

I have 5.3 years experience in Mainframe support and Mainframe QA role but right now I want to shift to Front end like Javascript or ReactJs but RMG is not letting to do that. Since they have many Mainframe openings they pushed me to another Mainframe project now . I pushed so much to RMG I got 2-3 calls for JS but they need experienced resource only and I’m doing course in JS and React they’re not even ready to evaluate . Please share your suggestions
