Our TL’s assign all the work from onsite hours to us ( offshore) and asks us work and they enjoy during there time.also takes all the credit for the work we did in place of them . I has became an habit to them. How to handle this situation.
Simply, start making excuses. They have to work on your behalf or just simply strech your existing task....client will presure them to work
Ask him for his deliverables in every email u sent about work snd copy everyone including customer
There could genuinely be reasons like on-site meetings, him working on multiple projects etc etc. As long it’s acknowledged that’s it’s you who is doing the work assigned and. Or the tech lead it should be fine. At same time you cannot be doing two people work. So keep your offfshore manager in loop on all these work assigned
