Tcs Working hours query

Hi all if anyone from hr team and management is reading this post need your advice on Tcs working hours. So the thing is I am allocated to a support project and have completed/wasted three and half years. From the beginning if we work from home we were asked to do a 10 hour shift. From the office it was 9 hours the same as we fill in the timesheet. Now I want to know if there is any TCS policy that allows projects to create their own rules like this 10 hour shift. I am currently on hr approved wfh for 1-2 months and I have been asked to do a 10 hour shift as I am working from home. Can anyone please tell me if I should contact my project hr manager for clarification regarding working hours or I have to follow this project made rule in illness also..

Thank you all for your suggestions...

Simply ask them to mention that in an email rather than a simple chat message, I bet they won't because it is no where mentioned in tcs work hours policy that working hours can be more than 9+ hrs other than some emergency cases.

Will do, actually it's our own mistake cause we had been following this from starting and even if we confronted they just told it's project policy and everyone gave up and did the 10 hour shift while wfh.

9 hrs is working hours as per policy which doesn't include break and lunch

Is anyone following this policy in TCS?
