TCS working hours
Recently i have been allocated to project where my manager shared as shift timings which as 10 AM to 8 PM or 12 PM to 10 PM so total shift timing is 10 hrs. We went and discussed with him, he said this is the policy for TCS 9 hrs. Shift and 1 hr for lunch break, is this true ? If not where i need to check those policy please help me with that ?

Work only that justifies the salary.

I can work 12 hrs also, that is not my problem, but as per the rule only 9 hrs, but my manager forcing me to work 10 hrs, that is not justified. He don't have any rights to force me to work any extra hrs. Which management has decided already. And also he is not paying me extra.
