Those default training courses are usually pretty meh. Talk to your manager and ask for something that’s actually relevant to your role. No point wasting time on generic stuff that doesn’t help you grow or improve your skills.

Try talking to your manager about exceptions to policies or any issues you might be facing. They might be more flexible than you think, especially if you bring it up in the right way.
