Tcs vs infosys
Hi , my frnd is in tcs with ctc of 22 lacs per annum and he got an offer from Infosys as a project manager with ctc of 24 lacs including 20% quarterly variable. Please suggest if he should join infosys and if yes what will be the inhand monthly salary and how much % of quarterly he will get?
Infosys is much better place to work compared to TCS, if you are not bothered about variable pay.
Infy isn't very promising when it comes to variable pay, although TCS has been doing the same for the last few quarters.
Ask him to find another company with that offer. In hand salary will not change much if there is variable component involved.
You should treat variable amount as a bonus which you may not get. They will say it’s 20% what if you don’t get that money for a quarter? Calculate take home salary without variable bonus and they tax. I think it would be roughly around 1.25L-1.5L per month.
