Tcs Tracking time at work

In our project they introduced a new thing saying that TCS management is going to track DTA on daily basis . In this everyday we have to share our login time , logout time , travel breaks , adhoc breaks , total and core hrs stats daily . Does anybody else is facing this or know about this ?

That is too much micro management. May be you are in a small project with too much hierarchy culture. Plan to get release from this place on priority! 😀

This is crazy stuff, instead of tracking these things they need to start tracking job market trends it’s picking up. People will start leaving tcs

It existed before covid, it's not new. ODC hours, office hours, leaves, etc were always tracked before covid. Although they never took action on them before covid.
