TCS to Infosys!!
Is it worth switching from TCS to Infosys in the early stage of my career, because in my point of view both the companies are kind of same interms of everything, please advice on this..
P.S: Got a good package from infosys though.
If everything is same why work on less package
Just ignore the offer and search again with any startup companies or product based companies. Switching to Infosys from TCS is like the 2nd floor on the same building where you are on the 1st floor in the building. But in the end the same building with some minimal changes in your career. But what if you choose a startup or product company that is like building your own with your own money. Think and react.
You are absolutely correct!! But no other comapnies are offering more than 50-60% hike where in infosys i got almost nearly 100%. Im still getting calls aswell but none of them are ready to give more than 50-60% nor matching the infy offer. So yeah I was struck in that dilemma.
If you are running back to the money just choose Infosys or pick all the calls and give interviews. But if you can manage the family and expenses with 50-60 hikes with any product or startups then my applause and welcome to the club consists of those who are building the career to be king wherever they go. Simple PERIOD. Discussion closed.
For some reason . You took a decision to attend interviews and leave tcs .
Now you got somr offer which is Work wise same but package x2 . Go on NP prepare for other companies and if you get your dream company join that orelse join info . Both win win situation for you.
Normally not. I joined after spending 15 years with Infy and joined TCS. The problem is that it almost doesn't feel like a change. Both are big companies and more or less the same work culture, so not much of a change.
Yeah thinking same, currently im in TCS and have 3 yoe and got offer from infy with good ctc so im in dilemma, is there is scope of learning in infy? Coz in my current project there is nothing to learn. Im getting other company calls aswel but they are not offering more than what I got in infy.
Don't commit the sin of staying here for long
If everything is same why info is giving more package coz tcs pays less .. switch switch switch
