TCS to Accenture
Should I Move from TCS to Accenture?
I need your advice on a career decision. Currently, I’m working at TCS with a CTC of ₹17 LPA. I’ve received an offer from Accenture with a CTC of ₹24 LPA (₹19 LPA Fixed + ₹5 LPA Variable) at ML9.
The salary hike is tempting, but I’m also considering factors like work-life balance, job stability, growth opportunities, and company culture.
For those who have worked at either TCS or Accenture—or faced a similar decision—what would you suggest? Is it worth moving for the higher package, or should I stick with the stability of TCS?
Looking forward to your thoughts and experiences!

Please Don't Join Accenture for Now. I have been there for 6 years. Many of my colleagues are still there. Reason i am saying No to Accenture as of now is :
- No hikes from last 2 years.
- Currently on Hyper PIP mode from last 6 months.
- As lateral you will not get more than 50% of variable pay .
So if you have another offer please try that.

Ignore the WLB and security. Job security is not a thing in tcs. No one is safe more dirty politics than ever.
Just opt more money.
Here in 17 lpa variable pay is biggest drawback
After going to Accenture when you are career is at stake you will switch again you will get another hike. If you are okay with putting efforts then continue with Accenture.

Please try to get other offer as well don't rely only on Accenture

Fixed payment is good .. considering interviewing for other jobs as well based on new pay offered but Accenture is good than tcs currently. Use it for temporary basis definitely in-hand salary will be more

Dude it’s not tempting..majority of the hike is variable component and it’s variable for a reason…rest your decision!
