TCS terminated my friend today. He is a C3A. He was asked to put resignation. TCS is no more a government job.

No he was not on the bench. He was tagged to the project and suddenly HR called him for a discussion and insisted him to resign, so that he can get 3 months salary

They mentioned multiple reasons like RTO compliance, no open position inside TCS, performance issues etc.

How long was he on the bench? His YOE?

They had officially announced 12k layoff, right? So I guess he might be part of the list, though I thought those in the list were being informed in advance

What reason did they cite? His skillset?
