TCS still a govt job?
I heard from some HRs that nowadays they have reduced the time on bench and will start rolling out the layoffs for those employees as per new policies.
I heard that TCS is like govt job and hence I joined for the same reason. Can you please tell your experience on bench which u experienced recently? Did u observe any changes and should I be worried.
If you are good, TCS is government job for you. For genuine workers TCS is government job.
Govt job for a slave
If you do your work nobody is going to torture you guys. TCS is for senior management people mostly 35+ years.
We signed NDA stating we will work on assigned task from office. After starting work we say we need WFO exception. Even government won't accept this guys.
When the organisation wants to show more profit they will cut the variable pay. Completed to all service based companies like TCS, INFY, WIPRO, TECHM, HCL, L&T
TCS is still better.
I know many of us may not like these statements but this is the reality.
For good working people TCS is awesome. I know my senior who got 172% in last 6 years in TCS itself. Not a fresher but he is taking around 38 LPA Wings2, consistent A rating and one A+ rating at 4th year.
Ultimately for top performers it's government job.

What is the meaning of govt job ? Does tcs gives any facilities like govt job ? Interns of salary , medical facilities , incentives etc ? It’s a myth
Tcs is not at all a govt job
It's an age old perception that people outside tcs still have about tcs and they expect tcs to be just like that when they join in
To their amazement it turns out exact opposite

Yes but it all depending the employees so many freshers miss use the bench policy recently they sent out of TCS around 50 to 60 people who is in bench for more than 2 years rejecting every project
