TCS Sponsored MTech-Scam
I want to share my story about how TCS is misguiding me. Below are the commitments given by TCS before joining Master's program
- You will be allocated to project related to master's subject
- You will be get salary hike around 40 % ( depend on current salary)
Above are major commitment made which are really matter for on which we signed a bond of x years.
Reality
- Your current account manager will not give release you because if tou left who will give bussiness to account.
- Account manager will say to managment that we are planning to give this work here side by side but not full time.
- During appraisal they will give 3 to 4 % hike saying that you will get hike for your MTech. But Mtech hike is not guaranteed.
I am frustrated because i have to serve 3 years with 300 rs hike per month working on same domain without using my Master's knowledge.
I would suggest please please dont fall into such trap.
If you are young and with less package dont choose this option.
People who has 20 - 30 years they are also applicable. For them its just additional technology, salary doest bother them much.
One thing i understand TCS is not for growth its for Retirement.

I am getting call from different account but my manager is not giving relase.

Same is the case here. They only say we are looking for your replacement
Stop working dude, Be less present and more of on leave .. They will Eventually release you.. Our life was not meant to be lived while we get tormented by someone😓.. don't think or resigning..
And I would Like to know when you write "TCS Sponsored" what does that means ? you took sabbatical or You took assistance for your education as well?

The post degree hike is not guaranteed!?? Then what's the use of sponsoring and encouraging people to apply? That too with a bond of so many years !

Can you elaborate more on the mtech opportunities we get from TCS? Like what kind of universities can we get into - IITs, NITs or private universities? Is it full time or part time? What is the procedure to apply? If there is any detailed policy pl let me know

Yes the first criteria is to complete at least 2 years in TCS before applying. And yes you do get an opportunity to apply for MTech through IITs . The sponsored course is online I think but considered as full time

Hi, thanks for replying. Can you share how can I get more info on this? I wanted to check the list of all institutes, courses and policy regarding the same.

What is the program? Can you tell more about it ... Have u completed the program?

Yes correct. These are traps basically to ensure you remain in TCS.
