Tcs should reduce Notice Period
The way TCS is exploiting its employees who wirk day nd Night for TCS ,it clear management want people to resign..then they should..

If they reduce the 90 day notice period then I can guarantee and bet on that within a 15 days half company employee will resign with immediate effect.

But if motive of management is to reduce headcount instead if layoff abd ruin company image..they should reduce it to 39 days..it eill solve there purpose

@SatyaVaachan changing notice period will only be a pain for TCS.
Should they reduce it now and increase it later when they want. It is unnecessary work for them just because their specific need is only for the time period.
Reducing np will also have unintended consequences, more employees leaving the org than they expected.

Before 2012 TCS had 1 month.. any how management behave like overburden with employees specially above C3B... Atleast this way they can reduce some of it like me...

@iPretendToWork .. Agree many ppl stucked bcoz of 3 months np will move out .
But even for time being they want to make ppl resign on thr self.. even with this thy will save two months salary and can give qva fully

In theory yes.
But changing np is changing terms and then again changing it back to 90 days. This hassle is not worth the outcome they expect.
They would keep it subtle, not on paper. And Let it be negotiable.
Also, by doing this, it will explicitly show every one that tcs wants us to leave. This affects the brand they built.

Ok. Noted

Haa but I don't think it will happen tcs and all other so call service based giants will keep 90days in future also.

Inka bharosa nhi bolega 6 month kar deta ha

If every company wants to join immediate. They should also have the same policy to release on immediate basis. It is vice versa. We should ask the hiring company that you should also have immediate release policy. Then they will think. No company wants to take risk but to make out of it that’s it. Employee fate it is at the end.
