Tcs salary for 9 yrs experience

Often I see posts where people earn more than 35 lpa with 6 yoe of experience in tcs. This post is for those people who might feel hopeless that they are earning very less compared to their peers. I joined tcs as a contractor with 5 yoe and they offered me 8.3 lpa. Now my total yoe is 9.3 yrs and my salary is 9.1 lpa. Yes, I have been earning very low and I would say I got too comfortable in my project that the salary didn’t matter much. Even i got laughed at by HR during the interview calls and even was showed pity when they asked for current ctc. Recently I landed an offer with 200% hike. What am trying to say is do not compare everything you see on social media. There are people who are earning very less for their yoe and there are ones who earn more than 1cr lpa. Mostly the first category like me do not wish to talk about it because its not something to brag about.

When you feel stuck level up your skills and game. I see many people here get intimidated by the polls and salaries others are earning. Trust me there equal number of people who don’t as well.
So stop comparison and just peacefully move ahead.
