Tcs retention policy

Am working with tcs for almost 4 years now with 4.5 LPA and received offered from another company with 9.5 LPA . HR called me to ask for retention and he said matching 9.5 is highly impossible , maybe we can try 8 or 8.5 . Anyone has any suggestion what should be done ?
