TCS Referral – Offer Letter Pending
I had referred a friend to TCS. The HR who scheduled the interview informed me that he was selected, but the main HR has not yet released the offer letter, even multiple follow up hr not replying.. Please guide what i do next
I have a HR friend who works in recruitment, she mentioned that lateral hiring is frozen for this whole quarter as of now. Now, unless the government or external bodies pressure TCS which they won't of course your friend needs to wait....sad reality of TCS right now...I would suggest to look elsewhere meanwhile...
Lateral hire is on hold. It will take time. Expect delayed joining date or even rejection as offer was not released yet.
Hiring frozen and even new project frozen. Too
Offer letters are on hold.
If the skillset is not a niche, the chance of getting an offer letter in next quarter is very thin. Usually, the requirement in which the interview was taken would have been already taken care of before next quarter.
On top, there are 600+ associates who got offer letters and the joining date was not published. Those will be honoured, but again 80% would have been already moved to some other company due to delays.
Keep track EPid and better to take screenshot and raise ticket in GeSs, document it as in company record.
Tcs HRs follow some false practice and they can delete EPID from ByB at any time. And your friend may get New EPID with some other referrals, raise a ticket for your self, else they will say due to duplicate EPID it has been removed. Its happening since years.
Even they are yet to onboard those supposed to join in June. Then think about ur friends case. For god sake tell him to be happy with his current company than being jobless for months with tcs offer
