TCS professionals, requesting some guidance
Hi TCS professionals, I have recently switched from Accenture to TCS (literally 2 days), and I have been told by HR, onboarding poc that many facilities like cab service, reimbursement depend on project as it is charged to client.
Based on your experience, can you suggest me three things:
- Where to apply projects (is there any internal site?) where you can look and apply and give interview?
- What are some good projects which give facilities like cab and much more - please name a few based on your experience as I will apply to them
- What are some worst projects that u r in or worked previously so I can avoid them
This will help me a lot, as the onboarding, streamline process is very manual in TCS, I'm already stressed with the steps of onboarding. I'm hoping with your suggestion, I will get a good project to make my switch worth it.
Thank you!
Please share some project names and experience

It depends on manager you get and the clients nature

Btw… i worked with cardinal health for 4 years with good manager and very patient and concerning clients.. so was all good for me. But our cross team situation were messed up so I can’t take project names or account names here

Come to my project 😜

Its true that cab depends upon projects as cost would come to project. Project managers are forced to avoid giving cabs to maintain margin. Even though transport costs are factored in the hourly rate biled to customer sometimes cabs are not provided to reach higher margin. Compared to Accenture I would say employee benefits are lesser here with respect to comfort of employees.
