TCS Pramotion Delayed scared of mass Layoff.
I Found some of the Important news that why tcs is delaying giving the pramotion to mid (C2)and senior above C2 level employees due to mass layoff. People are in the tcs waiting for the pramotion from last two quarters and conditions being worst each and every month. TCS is scared about this conditions.if they give pramotion they may be a mass layoff in the mid level employee. That Might be the reason they are holding it till now.
Layoff means company removing employees. Attrition means employees leaving the company. What do you mean?

I know they will give pramotion but there are some deadlines also if you are saying that tcs is not following deadlines it's a different things.
Better to open your eyes and see the market situation, there are peoples on the bench more than 6 month not getting project they scared about they don't have skill and noboday will take him. people from the projects are waiting for better work and good Hikes.
As you talk about this news I research and find the manager and already discussed this things. They told me this is because of Inflation and not closing the projects in the as per TCS budgets.
If you opend the linkdin account why tcs hr is not posting anything for cloud/Python dev/Cad works..etc

There was no promotion last quarter. There was a cycle for this quarter. We havent even reached the date when usually letters are received.

C2 and C3A,C3B doesn’t mean shit if the candidate has experience and talent to show for it. People who are expecting promotion might be good performers anyhow. If there is mass layoff, that will again make the job market difficult. It’s better to switch now than to wait for mass resignations.
