TCS pointing to some drastic changes which we are not able to figure it out ??

TCS has been operating in the market from last 50+ years, they have seen every tantrum employee can make it way, now question arises is there something they are pointing to which we all collectively not able to get there direction? Like and QVP has been reduced from last 2 years despite the company being in the profit every quarter , now this bench policy which has been reduced to 35 days, now they want us belive it's for benefits of employees? If they were so concerned why didn't it was implemented way before ? Why now after all this QVP decrease? Even manager are justifying that some employee don't take project and be on bench for long time, question still remains the same why now ? What is that TCS wana say by this policy and what are we getting information from management? Are we missing some thing ?? Open this forum to all who can contribute.

Several major companies, like BlackBerry and Yahoo, lost their edge not just because the market changed but because leadership failed to adapt, often blinded by past success and a rigid attitude. TCS seems to be showing similar warning signs. If the management doesn’t wake up and act in time, the company could be in real trouble soon.

It's simple it's called silent firing , either you leave the tcs or they will make you leave

Things like implemented all the things for employees. Why not implemented anything for leadership role? Check all leadership role in particular unit. Unwanted role will be there. they need to check leadership role. Lot of managers , lot of leads, lot of head, etc… for example leads, project manager, delivery manager, delivery head, delivery partner, head, delivery head, then unit head then president then ceo. Why we need this many roles here? We are staying like before leads developer or senior developer. Then how we can get any hike… ?

Tcs management is a complete failure, they are not getting big deals, clients have no confidence in TC$ , they are opting for peer companies because they also know that tcs is earning nowadays ( by reducing margins from employees, not by growth in performance). Downfall has already started and they are putting all blame on employees and punishing them instead of owning their mistakes.

TCS management were lazy they started realizing too late that company became a big mess. Now they are in fire fighting mode. They are trying whatever they can to improve the company.

No qva on bench
No qva if you don't go to office

So better stay on bench and don't go to office ...

Many juniors are exploiting TCS by using above strategy and this is the reason now the days they are strictly putting stop pay and bench policy came

Its silent firing!! TCS wants to please share holder which wont happen as share holder has lost 25% value of share. TCS is not able to innovate and is looking at cheap labour.

May be bench count increased too much and ppl in bench started feeling comfortable being in bench than work in projects. I have seen many ppl happy in bench for years. Then there is no difference between the one who works so hard and gets peanuts as hikes and others.
