TCS on Work Culture
I personally feel that TCS has lost all its charm importance as one of the biggest IT companies in Asia. If you ask TCSers, I can blindly bet that more than 80% of people are nkt happy working with TCS and the only thing that is stopping them from quitting is home loans and car loans as TCs does not fire employees randomly. Rest there is absolutely nothing great or amazing about TCS. The middle and higher management are full of shit and it feels like a slave working here.
Very true, since from 4 Saturdays they forced us to work. Recently i allocated to a project where my manager told me they are facing multiple escalations. So we need to work hard to meet the deadline. It is not my responsibility if they did something wrong in the past. Why would I bother with whatever they have done in the past. Why would I give my extra time for their failure. Pathetic work culture i have ever seen in my life. No salary growth, no promotion, keep torchering people not to jeans, WFO all Days , if not available apply leave. I am also looking for a good opportunity desperately.
You go to companies like HCL.. you will be asked to work on Sundays as well for someone e others fault. Its your hard work that will pay you. 9-5 for 5 days is just a dream now
2 office module says it is going to track the number of hours in office...so forget qv
Me too...the only reason I am still working in TCS even after 10 years is WLB though I am highly underpaid. But will have to make move now or later as there is no importance of good talent here...no recognition nor any rewards. Management takes u for granted.
Currently the salary structure in TCS is not as per market standards. The main guys boast different levels which people can pass to get higher package but that’s just only a handful.
Everyone else who joined TCS as a fresher and is staying in TCS before covid hit are underpaid. Like really underpaid, with more responsibility than people who are new hire and doesn’t have half the responsibility.
Only if the senior and mid management people leave the company, it will go back to its “golden days” if there was any.
Me too waiting for job outside..iam an average guy so may take bit time but I will move out for sure
