Tcs offer - BGC documents status initiated

What is the process of BGC at tcs ? Currently i have accepted the offer and now in ibegin portal status showing " BGC Initiated or status shared with recruiter ", what does it mean and how much time it will take , do they visit home to verify address? Please share your experience on this
