We went for my father angioplasty in Medanta hospital Gurgaon and they made a bill around 5 lakhs 70 thousand and tcs mediassist covered 1.5 lakhs only. Rest we paid to discharge him from the hospital..is there anyone who faced the same situation...Please give your comment..and guide me what should I do in this situation.

Why you haven't used Floater cover? It might be Base Cover + 12 or 14 Lakhs right? Pls check the policy document.

Read the policy document and check the coverage. Many times coverage depends on the nature of treatment. I haven’t come across a situation when coverage payout was less than policy limits. If you find a discrepancy then you can raise it to MediAssist or raise a HIS ticket. Hope this helps.
