TCS Laptop got Damaged
Hi I had a bike accident due to a dog coming across. I had minimal scratches but my tcs laptop got damaged Next morning I started my laptop it didn't had any issues. It was just little damaged at a corner. But now whenever I am starting my laptop its giving big warning sound and unable to start Will tcs charge me for this
Usually you should have a valid reason which states that you were bot deliberately responsible for the damage. The second is an approval from project manager to use the project provided WON/SWON to get the damaged part bought and replaced. You can do this over a mail/chat with manager. Third is getting an Ariba procurement request raised post project approval to use the WON/SWON.
If you are approved for the use of WON/SWON, you wont have to pay a single penny.
The pricess usually taked a month or two depending on the pace its moving with.
If the damage isn't covered under warranty, TCS might charge you. Inform the IT team immediately and follow their guidance. Repair costs could be deducted from your salary.
