TCS LAPTOP DAMAGED
My TCS laptop got damaged on one side of the screen when it slipped from my hands while opening it. I tried to repair it outside, but it couldn't be done. Will TCS charge money to replace or repair it? Can anyone give me a suggestion?
Resolution: An IT ticket was raised, and the vendor, such as HP or Dell, was contacted. The vendor then filed a complaint and came to the office to replace the part.
Note: this only happen when your asset is in warranty otherwise asset replacement will be done.
Your current project will bear the cost for it, it happened for me as well in 2023. You have to connect with IT team and raise procurement request from ARIBA portal in ultimatix Procurement.

Raise a request with IT, they will further raise the request with the company. It will be under insurance so they will simply replace its outer body.
