TCS Kochi

Hi All, I was released from a project on December. I got into a project and they gave me allocation and they asked me to study Java and selenium as kept on a competency won for 1 and half month. Suddenly in same account there was a vacancy for manual testing and they took my client interview and got selected as well. And then they started the on boarding process which went for a week or so. Now they saying the onboarding got rejected as client is not willing to take FTE from off shore. Again I will be on bench. What should I do in this situation?

Make use of your time to upskill. Wait for other projects. Don't just wait for RMG to find and give you a project, use linkedin, knowme or your friend circle to get into a good project. I won't suggest leaving because of the current job market situations. TCS is the safest company that you can be in at this moment, nothing to worry about if you are on the bench. Just upskill and make use of your time.

Is tcs really safe , they don't fire?? They are putting stop pay action for people who are on bench for 4-5 months..

Use udemy and LinkedIn resources to gain your skills until they allocate you, you can reach out to your RMG on a daily basis and ask them to allocate a project. If you feel like this is a drag, then you can just gain skills and switch the company.
