Trending @Infosys; TCS Joining Delayed Due to Minor Document Error – Any Similar Experiences?

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out to ask if anyone (or their friend) has faced a similar situation with TCS onboarding.

A friend of mine was supposed to join TCS on 25th June, but due to a minor correction in his father's name in the application, the HR team said the offer letter would be revised in 4–5 working days.

It's now been more than two weeks, and he hasn't received any update despite multiple follow-ups with recruiters and onboarding managers. He’s worried because he left his previous job based on the joining date and has no income currently.

Has anyone faced a similar delay or know how long it usually takes to get such corrections approved and receive the revised offer? Any guidance or escalation advice would be really appreciated.
