TCS isn't all bad
I spent 6 years in TCS, and got an onsite opportunity finally in 2023. I was sent to the UK for a longterm project, and my package there was around £60,000 per year. After taxes and expenses, I managed to save close to ₹1.5 lakh per month! When I returned to India, the onsite experience added so much value to my profile that I got a 40% hike during my next switch. If you’re in TCS and have the chance to go onsite, I’d say take it, it’s worth it both financially and professionally

I think it's on luck, you can't stay in tcs hoping for onsite. There are no written rules for sending you on site.

I've seen people getting 1-2 onsites within 10 years of service, also seen people serving 15-20 years still no onsite, and too many B &C bands. So, it's very hard to say about onsite nowadays

Luck and our people skills play a role more than our technical skills.

The onsite experience never added any Value, your knowledge always added value

Does they provide indian salary too? Or only €60k per year?

Went onsite at your 4 years am i right ?
