Irony is...as per my experience being in TCS over 11 years
- C3B and above are either too lazy to work or just want to be a manager and do delegations.
- C2 grade associates just want to go onsite or leave company.
- C1 doesn't know how to work and always looks for senior to help Obviously there are exceptions. Now in this, TCS will do mass hiring from colleges, lateral hires will ask for good package so either they will be rejected or will end up hiring not so skilled people.
But what is the "irony" in what you said!?!
You said wrong for C1 grade. C1 grade are the most productive and energetic beings and they always look for better opportunity rather than looking for senior help. They are flexible and will soon get better offers and leave TCS rather than being lazy
People who are laggards will be asked to leave everywhere . Don’t spread rumours .

In TCS resignations are already happening due to less pay,no promotion, no increment etc. so layoffs will not happen.
