🚨 TCS is laying people off. And it’s the wake-up call many of us need.

Let’s be honest — too many people are stuck in a comfort zone, assuming their job is secure just because they’ve been around for years.

But here’s the truth: 🔹 Your company will survive without you. 🔹 Will you survive without them?

💡 If you’re not upskilling in market-relevant tech, you’re already falling behind. 💬 Want to know if you’re still valuable in today’s market? → Start attending interviews. → See if you’re getting callbacks or offer letters. That’s your reality check.

Stop being overly loyal to a company that may not hesitate to let you go when the time comes.

✅ Don’t become a slave to stability. ✅ Jump companies as you grow. ✅ Stay loyal to your goals, not your manager’s promises.

Your growth is your responsibility. Your career is your product. Keep upgrading. Keep moving.

The job market doesn’t wait. Why should you?

Not entirely behind the scenes, hours of research, multiple long conversations, and finally long paragraphs. Then put it in Chat GPT to get it summarised. Edited and pasted.

The long version I have put in another post. Thought of helping the community out with my findings. Organisation is selfish I didn't want to be.

There is not much company shifting as there is many problems in outside market
There is not much of openings to switch too All people r saying switch switch but hardly anybody has tried outside
Its very bad out there

It is bad outside I agree. But for those not having the relevant skill set. That was the whole point of the post.

How will one know whether they will/are in demand. Best measure is trying to switch. See I did mention try giving interviews and try applying to know where you stand. It need not mean you put in your paper and try. If you are exceptional then there are companies ready to wait 90 days as well ( Very very very rare cases ).

See you sir tell me market is bad but then why are companies hiring and poaching talent?

I know personally two people in my project who shifted just a month back. One person to Bosch and another to AWS. The former person Bosch waited for 90 days NP btw for her to join. She put it after getting the OL.

My lead who build the whole project from scratch got retained by TCS matching the same offer offered by EPAM. Because if she leaves then for sure the whole project would collapse.

During a period like this the above 3 peole did it and I began my research. Spoke to people on Linked In who are making switch. All of them had one factor in common it was relevant skill sets the organisation needed. So sir, you can do your research as well and you will see those with the skill set have very high demand.

It is best to know our shortcomings early and work on them than wait for it to be pointed out the hard way.
