TCS is asking people to pay salary back?
The fact that this question has to be asked is just ridiculous. If a Project allocated resource did not go to office for like 60 percent or so in a month , and resigns, then is TCS asking for the person to pay salary back in those months? I heard of such case once here and in glassdoor so just checking, thanks

No organisation will ask to pay the salaries back once given. If a loan is taken then it would as to pay the amount. However if they feel your wfo index is low or not expected then they would give you a warning email and ask for a reason for not maintaining WFO. Still not followed then that would reflect in your appraisal and max they may terminate but they will not ask to pay salary back. These all organisations work under labour commission law and even if the person has not come to office he/she might worked for the project and they would have billed for the delivery of work… so don’t worry guys all these are speculations.

Finally a sensible answer after all these panicking people

Wrong. My july month salary is stopped by HR because of Unauthorised absence marked by HR that to in back date. Like in July Hr marked UA for May and June. My July month salary gone in retrospective salary deduction through arrears. They said that QVA will be affected but stopped my whole salary.

It's true but depends on the WFO index.

Yes yes.. Now they have introduced "minutes" too in the WFO index.. Everyone's WFO index may get impacted..

TCS already give salary in chillers, that too not sufficient sometimes to survive. On top if they ask to pay back to company then there is nothing left to look out side.
Also if they gave something extra then definitely they will deduct in next month but could not ask to pay back. All this are roumers so just chill and enjoy.
