This means they have laidoff 37000 associates already. As per this report they have hired 18,500 associates in Q2. But, in Q1 total headcounts were 6,13,000. In Q2 published report total headcounts are 5,93,000. So it means they has already laidoff 37000 associates in Q2 quarter as 5,93,000 has newly hired count (18,500) too.
