If you are on the bench and you have an offer letter from another company, then TCS will release the employee, or still, that person needs to serve 90 days Notice period
If u are on bench dont state last working day just keep your RMG and HR in the email and write your willingness to not continue... They will release you as fast as they can if u are on bench.
If you are on the bench, first you have to send a resignation email stating LWD (count 90 days). After a day or two send a second email requesting an early release. Take a follow up on this by meeting RMG in person or start email thread (if you are not getting any update). Your NP will be reduced to only 1 or 2 weeks.
If you're not in a project and already submitted resignation, just meet your RMG and say you're unallocated and resigned. He/she will initiate your separation process the very next day.
