TCS Band explanation
New to TCS joined Jan 2025, how is apprasial gonna happen in which month and how much much hike is max for best performance and whats least hike.
You joined in January 2025, so your first increment will happen in April, 2027 as TCS does not give increment on anniversary appraisal. So in 2026 you will just get IPF but no salary revision.
This is devastating to hear. Can you please tell what is IPF, working for 2 years with no hike doesn't seem nice.
IPF is rating, anniversary appraisal you do not get band. You just get rating/ipf like 4.23 or 3.45 and so on. Yes tcs has stopped giving increment on anniversary appraisal from last 4 years and you can read the policy stating the same.
Total 4 bands A B C D. There is A+ but not officially.
Hike range is from 0% to 8%.
Curve fitting is also there which means most of the employees will be on C band.
A approx 10% to 15%. B - 20 to 30%, C - 50%, D - 10% employees
